Fall is almost here, which means it’s time for Fall Fashion, Back, to School and time to start a new skincare routine. YAYYYYY!!!! Head on over to Macy’s to grab your gift with purchase offer from Lancome Paris. Hurry, supplies are limited and you don’t want to miss out on this. I’ve been looking for a skincare regimen to help with my discoloration and uneven skin tone but it has been hard to find a product that does NOT contain hydroquinone. I have to stay away from hydroquinone. It’s not good or gentle on my skin, especially on my face. Most skin lightening creams that treat uneven skin tone have hydroquinone as the main ingredient, so, trying to find a gentle and effective skincare product to even out my skin tone is extremely challenging. And for the record, I’m not trying to lighten my complexion. What I want to do is balance and even it out, instead of having multiple batches of different shades on my cheeks and jawline. So, I came across Lancome Paris Visionnaire Crescendo, it’s an at-home peel treatment that works overnight. There are two phases to the treatments; I’ll apply Phase 1 for 14 nights and then Phase 2 for another 14 nights, for total of 28 nights. The formula for Phase 1 contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) from Fruit Acids and Quinoa Husk Extract. The active ingredients in Phase 2 are a combination of Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid. All of these ingredients are combined in a concentrated amount to make the Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo Progressive Night Peel a powerful tool in my skincare routine. I will do I full review when I complete the full 28 nights of treatment. So, back to the Lancome gift with purchase offer from Macy’s….since I had to have the Lancome Paris Visionnaire Crescendo night peel, my total gifts from Lancome are worth up to $200. In addition, to the night peel , I chose to get the following gifts with purchase:

  • Lancome Visionnaire SPF 20 Multi-Correcting Cream (To correct and perfect my skin texture)
  • Lancome Bi-Facial Face Look (Eye makeup remover, mascara, primer and gold highlighter.)
  • Lancome La Vie Est Belle fragrance trio (It smells so good. Like refined baby powder—if that even exists.)

  • Lancome 10-day foundation shade sampler
  • A blue Lancome cosmetic bag

This weekend I decided to treat myself and buy a luxurious Pecksniff’s hand soap and lotion set. Pecksniff’s is a British fragrance and cosmetic company that makes indulgent fragrances. They make a great assortment of scents to pick from. So many that it was hard for me to decide which one to pick but I settled on this rose and peony scented set. I was intrigued by it because the pink-hue had that feminine touch and charm that I wanted to add to my bathroom sink decor. So, now every time I wash my hands I’m giving my hands a mini-pampering session with this moisturizing hand soap and lotion. The next time you’re picking something up to liven up your home don’t forget your bathroom sink. Getting a scented hand soap and lotion is such a quick way to add style to your bathroom decor. When making the purchase, this is what you should be asking yourself, How does this make me feel? Am I drawn to the packaging? Does the design of this product make me smile? If the answer is yes, buy it. If it’s no, put it down, and keep looking.

Tom Ford’s e-commerce site has official launched. The site features Tom Ford accessories for both men and women, including shoes, handbags, sunglasses, and both the beauty and fragrance collection. The ready-to-wear line is not available online, but will be added later on. When shopping online, you’ll find that most models are modeling the products in the  nude. Why? Well, because Tom Ford is addicted to nudity, and he equates nudity to being sexy. With the whole nudity issue aside now, let’s get back to the focus of the site, which is to sell the luxury line of Tom Ford products. Shipping and returns are free. Right now shipping is available within the U.S. only, but international shipping will be available soon. There is same-day delivery for orders placed in Manhattan (sorry Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island). The Tom Ford e-commerce site is also optimized for mobile sales, so you can shop for Tom Ford on your cellphone.
